Event photography was the studio's bread-and-butter offering: family birthday parties, quinceañeras, community gatherings, conferences, and cultural convenings. The work was documentary in approach — kids mid-bite, parents painting cat-whiskers on their daughters, families assembling for the obligatory group portrait around the cake.
Every frame was branded with the OCS citrus mark. The deliverable was usually a same-week gallery, sized for social and print orders. Clients ranged from family events in San Fernando to SEIU convenings, Hispanicize 2017, and the cathedral series that later funded the Cancer Society print sale.
What's shown here is a Minnie Mouse–themed birthday shoot — one of the recurring family-event shoots from the studio's first years.
